In light of the fact that all trial designs have
both a Bayesian and a frequentist interpretation, it is incorrect
to regard that either approach is statistically more efficient
than the other
Any effort to sell Bayesian methods on the basis of
their requiring smaller sample sizes is merely changing
the standards of statistical evidence required for the trial
Similar changes to frequentist standards of evidence will
also result in smaller sample sizes
