Ordering Probability Distributions
In
general, the space of all probability distributions is not totally
ordered
–There are an infinite
number of ways we can define a tendency toward a “larger”
outcome
–This can be difficult
to decide even when we have data on the entire population
•Ex: Is the highest
paid occupation in the US the one with
